During our recent NJQSAC monitoring, the district scored well above the 80% mark established by the State in all five areas of concern:
  • Governance
  • Operations
  • Instruction & Programs
  • Personnel
  • Fiscal Management                                                   
 
As a result, the Dumont Public Schools has been recognized as a High Performing District.

SAT Information:
76% of our students took the test vs. State - 63%  and…
 Math… increased to 530 vs. 511 vs. 497 in prior years vs. St/Nat 515/515
 Verbal… increased to 508 vs. 483 vs. 475 in prior years vs. St/Nat 494/501
 Essay… increased to 514 vs. 497 vs. 481 in prior years vs. St/Nat 494/493

Advanced Placement Information:
  • 84 out of 176 2 or 48% of the students who took the test, scored a 3 or higher earning them college credit from most schools.
  • For the first time we had 8 students Recognized by College Board as “AP Scholars
  • Scholars with Distinction - 3 students achieved a grade of 3 or better on at least 5 exams and had an overall average of at least 3.25
  • Scholars - 5 students received a grade of 3 or better on 3 or more exams
  • 21.3% of 11th and 12th graders participated in the AP vs. State - 19% 2
