Kindergarten Registration

 

The Dumont District has full day Kindergarten for all students at each of our elementary schools.

 

If your child will be five years old on or before October 1st of the school year in which you are enrolling, he/she is eligible to start kindergarten for that school year. There is no exception to this date.

 

Registration takes place at 25 Depew Street (building next to Honiss School), between 8:30 a.m. and 11:30 a.m. by appointment only. Special registration periods are held for Kindergarten in January and February.

After you complete your online registration, you must call (201) 338-8933 for an appointment to bring in your documents.

 

PLEASE NOTE: YOU CAN NOT SCHEDULE A RESIDENCY APPOINTMENT UNTIL THE ONLINE REGISTRATION IS COMPLETE

 



Please Note:  If your child currently attends the Pre-K4 program in Selzer School, please do not complete this form as your child will be a returning student in the fall.  Please contact the registrar at (201) 338-8933 to schedule an appointment to verify residency.
