All of the schools in the Dumont Public School system will be closed on, Tuesday, February 24, 2026. All after-school activities, athletics, and evening events scheduled for Tuesday are also canceled.

Due to the forecasted winter storm and expected hazardous travel conditions, all of the schools in the Dumont Public School system will be closed on, Monday, February 23, 2026. All after-school activities, athletics, and evening events scheduled for Monday are also canceled.

All schools in the district will have a delayed opening on Tuesday, January 27, to ensure that staff and students have adequate time to arrive safely to our schools. School will begin at 10:00 a.m. with a regular dismissal. Please follow the appropriate schedule as outlined by your child’s school.

Returning Student Registration is for students who will be in grades 1-12 in the fall of 2025. This registration is only for students who attended the Dumont Public Schools in the 2024-2025 school year. Students in Pre-K, Kindergarten and new students to the district will not be completing Returning Student Registration. Email to parents were sent out on August 11, 2025
