During our most recent NJQSAC monitoring, the district scored well above the 80% mark established by the State in all five areas of review:
As a result, the Dumont Public Schools has been recognized as a "High Performing" District.

Advanced Placement Information:
Dumont High School has been recognized twice by the College Board as a recipient of the Annual AP District Honor Roll award. The district continues to research and provide for additional AP course and dual-enrollment opportunities for students to earn college credits in high school.
Of the 293 AP exams* administered in 21 subjects to 164 students, 85% of the participating students, scored a 3 or higher earning them college credit from most schools.
*Dumont's average scores exceeded State & Global Averages in all but 6 subjects

For the 2024 school year, we had 41 students recognized by College Board as “AP Scholars.”
- Scholars: 19 students received a grade of 3.0 or higher on 3 or more exams
- Scholars with Honor: 10 students received a grade of 3.0 or higher on 4 or more AP exams, and had an overall average of at least 3.25
- Scholars with Distinction: 12 students received a grade of 3.0 or higher on at least 5 exams, and had an overall average of at least 3.5
Dumont High School’s Class of 2023 four (4) year graduation rate of 97.5% is once again was above the State rate of 91.1% and the 2022 five (5) year rate of 92.8% is above the State rate of 92.7%. Class of 2023 Post Graduation Plans (from the last available data):
